Ever since 2020 all things business, professionalism, ethics, honesty, and follow through have virtually disappeared, am I right? Most places don't even answer their phones during business hours anymore. It's something I truly dread, especially in a life or death situation. We've been here once before for an urgent but non life threatening visit for one of our other dogs, but this time it WAS a life threatening emergency, as one of beloved doggos had just been struck in the face, by a rattlesnake....a Frenchie, no less. We all know their airway is already compromised enough. We called to make sure they had antivenom and God was on our side that I was able to sail, ever so slightly above the speed limit, to get there in record time.(comedy) The situation had progressed critically by the time we got there and they took her straight back. Everyone was calm, polite, and attentive. The doctor, Dr. Phongsavath, was incredible and gave me the range of medical scenarios that could happen, as well as the financial worst case scenario up front. I'm not going to say her care was cheap, but it WAS reasonable and expected for her hospitalization and the personal around-the-clock care needed and provided. She explained the whole process, as well as letting me know that if the worst case scenario did not happen, we would be refunded the excess amount of our deposit. I pretty much disregarded this and figured, they'd figure a way to fill it in somehow within her hospitalization, but ultimately finances were the least of our worries at this point. We were facing the possibility of losing her, and very frightened of the idea of tomorrow without our beloved "Bug". Long story-short, by the next day she was making leaps and bounds progress, was able to be released by that evening with continuing care and meds, and the doc actually credited us back. She kept to her word, and our beloved "Bug" is home and recovering so well. I am beyond grateful that they were there for us, treated all of us with compassion, and followed up several times on her condition afterwards. I am very grateful and proud that there's still some medical professional prestige out there, to depend on when the worst happens. Thank you, Gilbert Queen Creek Emergency Hospital staff. You have truly saved our family unit, and you deserve to be recognized!

Dr Conzemius has performed two surgeries on our dog Mutton: a hip replacement and a TPLO. He is thorough in his explanations and answers all our questions with patience, using models, images and demonstrations to explain. We have been very pleased with the hip replacement and hope for the same with the recent TPLO.
His medical assistants (vet techs? Unsure of the correct terminology) have also been helpful. The woman who helped us prior to Mutton’s hip surgery was so great! She sent a pic and praise of him when he came out of anesthesia. She was warm and caring, while being professional and taking care of business. I wish I could remember her name.
We really appreciate the communication around when Mutton went into surgery and came out. We appreciate that we can visit him during an overnight stay. The overnight staff during his hip surgery was so attentive. There was a warmth and hospitality that felt reassuring. This time Hannah was his overnight caretaker. She met us up front to walk us back, shared about his medications and answered questions, as well.
The communication throughout and visitation access provides peace of mind in a time of uncertainty.
The front desk staff has been very receptive and helpful when we have called and/or emailed, as well. That’s so important as we are not medical professionals and do not deal with surgery recoveries on a regular basis. Since dogs cannot talk and tell us what they feel, and the recovery process is long, things feel unsettled. Being able to reach out and ask questions provides assurance and support in a vulnerable time.
We appreciate the care, follow up, medical expertise and support the entire staff & team provide.
Overall both have been positive experiences, although we wish we were not “frequent flyers.” Lol (Mutton agrees. No more surgeries please.)

I'm so glad I waited a week to write this review because I ended up at this ER twice for both my pets! Last week I was there because my 4.5 year old cattle dog mix ate a corn cob. Taking our dog to the vet can be a nightmare because although he is a sweetheart, he's a complete nervous wreck when it comes to the vet. We can't help but feel embarrassed sometimes because we have to muzzle him, manhandle him, and sometimes sedate him just to be examined. The staff at this urgent care were nothing but understanding, helpful, and most importantly supportive, from start to finish.

Dr. Megan Tommet worked with our dog and she walked us through every possible situation and worked with Bruno's temperament. Not once did she make us feel ashamed. She walked us through options and Bruno ended up walking out of his surgery as a happy pup. I feel so bad for not remembering the name of the tech that day but she was wonderful. She was there from the start of the day till the end and walked us through care instructions. I could tell she was tired from working all day but she answered all my questions with clairty and ensured that we'd be okay taking care of Bruno post-surgery. This was his first surgery and I'm so glad we came to them. Thank you again, you are amazing!! <3

Today, I came in for our cat. I'd like to really point out todays experience because I came here in a rush with my toddler. You can imagine how stressful that was. The girls at the front desk were so kind, so honest about the wait times, and super supportive of what I needed this morning. I was seen by a tech right away to get my cats vitals. While everything looked okay, it was a long wait time to see a doctor which I was totally fine with. It was a very busy day with other critical animals that needed to be seen. Once the one hour came up and my toddler started to lose it (close to nap time), I spoke with Samantha about the possibility of leaving and coming back in the evening. Samantha, if you're reading this, you're an incredibly kind human being. I know how busy it was today but you managed to get us seen right away and you have no idea how much that helped me and my family today, most importantly our cat, who I was so worried about. Thanks to you and your quick thinking she was seen, we are able to treat her today, and talk about next steps and I'm just so thankful for you.

Dr. Alex Hintz went over Noe's results today and care plan and I'm just so thankful for his help. He's smart, well spoken, and really cares about your pet. I absolutely felt relived after speaking with him because I know the level of care Noe was going to get was going to be the best. I trusted his advice and I'm looking forward to the care plan we have for my cat.

I highly recommend Gilbert Queen Creek Emergency Veterinarian Specialty Center. Dr. Bronstein and her entire team were incredibly caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable.

My dog, Happy, was suffering from severe arthritis and was experiencing a lot of pain in his lower back. He was having a very difficult time walking and even sitting. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated him with so much kindness and care. The veterinary technician even gave Happy a soft blanket to lie on, which was such a thoughtful gesture during a very difficult time for him.

The facility is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I also really appreciated that they provided me with different pharmacy options so I could compare medication prices and choose the best option for Happy.

Another wonderful thing about this facility is that they provide blood donation services for both dogs and cats, which I think is such an important service for the community and for pets in emergency situations.

I am truly grateful to Dr. Bronstein and her team for taking such good care of Happy. Their compassion and professionalism made a stressful experience much easier for both of us. I have already recommended this place to my friends, and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for excellent emergency veterinary care. The facility is beautiful; very clean and welcoming. The staff were exceptional! Dr. Phong was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and truly cared about Ruger. I felt very confident in the recommendations / options I was given. Shelby was also amazing with Ruger. Prices were very reasonable. I am so grateful for the care we received and would highly recommend!

Brought my cat in for blood in his urine. He was given multiple tests and the problem was identified. I knew he'd need follow up with his regular vet *three hours away* but he was made comfortable and given manageable treatment for that to happen. Staff was very friendly and the facility was clean. While I don't want to go back *urgent care for pets*, if an emergency happens, I know where I'll take my animals.

We had an emergency with our elderly dog, Hannah, and were so grateful to have found Gilbert Queen Creek Emergency Vet. The entire team was incredibly caring, compassionate, and genuinely emotionally present with us during an extremely difficult time.

They treated Hannah with such kindness and dignity and treated us with patience and understanding. They never made us feel rushed or like we were just another emergency.

Their compassion meant more to us than they will ever know. We are truly grateful for the exceptional care they gave Hannah and for the kindness they showed our family.

From the receptionist who took my call, the triage nurse, the technician, all the way to the Doctor, GSP Darla and I were treated with nothing but swift kindness. The ER is never a place anyone wants to be on a Sunday morning, human or animal, but after my experience I know if any future emergency services are needed for my furry family members I know exactly where I’m taking them. Thank you thank you thank you!
Darla got into the trash(that was supposed to have been taken out the night before) and had herself some leftover chicken tandoori bones. I called ahead due to past experience with pet ER’s being at capacity and the lovely lady on the phone said bring her right in! Got checked in and not even a full minute later the triage nurse came out to chat, asked how long ago the trash crime was committed, and barely 5 minutes after that Darla was whisked away to purge her tandoori sins. I was given the option of an xray to be sure there were no problematic pieces left(which I accepted) and we were out the door within an hour of arriving. For it being a Sunday morning, I was pleasantly surprised to have paid what I would expect at a GP during normal office hours, very reasonable, but frankly I’d never complain about such things when the care Darla needed was so readily available and quick! Darla and I appreciate you all!!

Great customer service and very helpful

Clean establishment, friendly and helpful staff. Their processes make you feel important and cared for even when it’s busy and there are longer waits.

My kitten had surgery on one leg and will do other leg there.Dr Conzemuis gave options and listen to what I had to say and understood how felt about my special kitten and what we had been thru. They keep me updated with text and pictures and ease my mind. When I picked her my kitten was relaxed and love her nurses. They do great follow ups the next day and I sent pictures of her to Sommerlee. I will not be worried about the other upcoming surgery Thank you very much from Royal and me.
