Meet Our Team
Stephanie is a dog mom and rescuer originally from Iowa, but has spent most of her life in the south. After spending the majority of her adult life in real estate, she was given an opportunity to work in emergency and general practice veterinary medicine a few years ago and she can’t imagine being in any other field of work. She grew up with dogs, cats, and even a few hermit crabs but tends to prefer pets that bark and neigh the most. She is a Chandler High School graduate of AZ, but she can’t wait to retire back by the beaches of North Carolina.
Brittni is a mommy of two energetic boys and lives in constant motion. Growing up in Hawaii and California was the highlight of her younger years though it didn’t last long as she moved to Portland, OR when she was six years old. In high-school she learned her love for animals. South American raccoons, chinchillas, hedgehogs, flying squirrels…. you name it, she had it. She went on to graduate from Vanpelt Training Academy to acquire her CAN. She worked as a customer relations manager until she pursued her healthcare degree working in one of the greatest surgical departments in Oregon. After great consideration she decided to move with her family to Gilbert, Arizona. In looking for a new career, she stumbled upon Gilbert Queen Creek Emergency Veterinarian & Pet Urgent Care and new doors have now opened for her here! She looks forward to learning to become an emergency veterinary nurse and to see what new and fun opportunities lie ahead.
Amanda A. is an Arizona native and has been interested in the caring and treatment of domestic and exotic animals since she was young. She has worked as a veterinary assistant and volunteered at a local raptor wildlife rehabilitation as a certified medical volunteer. Currently she spends her free time enjoying being a new mom! She loves planning ways to enjoy nature such as camping or hiking with her husband and son. The rest of the time she can be found snuggling up with her senior toy poodle hound mix and cat with a good cup of coffee in her hand!
Sarah was born and raised in South Africa and moved to America in 2016. Her ultimate dream involves owning a large piece of land and using it as a rescue and sanctuary for animals to roam without fences. Volunteering at a Zoo throughout high school sparked this dream of hers. There’s no better experience than a place like Gilbert Queen Creek Emergency Veterinarian to learn how to take better care of animals. She has two little meowers named Baboo and Archer. Sarah is currently a college student studying Business Administration. She loves jigsaw puzzles – the bigger the better! She also enjoys adventuring on both land and water while admiring nature’s beauty, but equally loves being a couch potato!
Kennedy was born and raised on a farm in Queen Creek, Arizona. She grew up surrounded by all types of animals and was blessed with the opportunity to learn alongside her farm veterinarian. She started working in emergency for small animals about 3 years ago and fell in love with the excitement that came with it. Throughout the years, she gained a burning passion to care for and save the lives of any animal she possibly could. She is so grateful to be able to work alongside other outstanding people who all share this passion. She has two dogs that have become her family over the last 2 years, Whiskey and Hennessy, and she believes in treating your pets just as she would her own. She aims to go back to school in hopes of finding more amazing opportunities somewhere in the medical field! Outside of work, she enjoys ‘spur of the moment’ adventures with her pups as well as hiking, camping, off-roading, and spending time with her people. She is beyond excited to have the ability to get to work every day with a smile and meet amazing people and even better pets!
