Leah was more than just a pet. She brought so much joy into our lives with her diva personality and we called her a queen all the time. She didn't have the best start to life, but we made sure to give her the best last 5 years of her life, alongside her previous foster mom, Damaris Spisz of PAWS. She had the biggest personality and the biggest heart to give us. Even despite her arthritis, enlarged heart, acid reflux, neuropathy, and finally kidney disease, she never hesitated to show us her love. When she first arrived, she wasn't quite ready to share so much of herself yet, but with patience and time, she learned to love the privilege of two families. We are so blessed to have had such a treasure in our lives just in time to help us through the pandemic, and to stay with us ever since. Queen Leah was put to rest on January 24, 2025, a week before the first day she came here in 2020. We love and miss her so much, but we know she is in peace. Photos of her 16th bday last year 💖
