TDLR: kind, compassionate, affordable, accommodating. If I had to visit the emergency vet again I’d 100% go here again. Everyone was kind, compassionate, and accommodating to my/my pet’s needs. The techs and doctors seemed knowledgeable. No one made me feel rushed to make decisions and no one made me feel guilty for declining services that I felt my pet didn’t need. Considering this is an emergency vet, prices were very reasonable and comparable to other places, and test results were very quick. I arrived around 11:15 pm Monday for my dog having a seizure, her second in less than two weeks. She was stable, so we had a longer wait time which was fine and I expected. I appreciate they’re able to treat the most time-sensitive patients first and didn’t mind waiting. Dr. recommended testing for valley fever, cbc panel, and the chem panel to check for infections, organ failure, etc.. I ended up going home for the night around 2/2:30am without doing anything, and came back in the morning due to personal reasons that would make this post way longer. In the morning, i decided to only do the cocci test for Vally Fever, and decided if that was negative we’d move forward with further testing. Results took about 45 minutes (maybe less), and my girl tested positive. Dr. came and talked to me about results, valley fever, and our next steps. Vet tech recommended following up with the titer test at a regular vet, as it would be cheaper and we needed to follow up with them anyways. I also want to note I do have a dog reactive dog, and at our prior vet they also injured my dog. Due to those reasons, they were kind enough to allow our vitals and waiting to be in a private room rather than the back and lobby. They also have complementary snacks and water, but I did not take advantage of these. Though I’m not glad we had to visit the emergency vet twice, I am glad I chose to visit this one in particular.
