Dr. Matthew W. Miller, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Cardiology)

Dr. Miller received his DVM degree from The Ohio State University in 1984 and his Masters of Science degree from the same university in 1993. He completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship  at the West Los Angeles Veterinary Medical Group from 1984-1985 and a cardiology residency at the Ohio State University from 1985-1988. He became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology) in 1988. He served on the faculty of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences from 1988-2014 where he achieved the position of full professor with tenure.  He served as the director of the Texas A&M University Institute for Preclinical Studies (TIPS) from 2012 to 2014.  He is currently a Senior Professor of Cardiology in The Department of Small Animal Veterinary Clinical Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Texas A&M University. He is a Charter Fellow of the Michael E. DeBakey Institute of Comparative Cardiovascular Science and Biomedical Devices.
